Studio Rental
Rent our 1100 square foot studio for your next shoot. The studio includes a private restroom, beautician's sink, lighted makeup station, backdrops, stands, and lighting. You can rent Jack's Studio for $50/hour with a 2 hour minimum. Questions? Please call 707-315-3688.

Triggering

1 - Four-Channel Wired Remote Control Use with hotshoe adaptor (below), Wireless Trigger (below), Optical Slave (below) or direct PC connection on your camera.

Using Optical Slave Triggering - All of the AlienBees will fire when they sense another flash firing. You can use your camera's built-in flash to fire the AlienBees. This approach does not require any of the above equipment, but this technique is not reliable; depending on the orientation of the lights, and your flash, forward facings strobes may not trigger.
Some cameras (such as Nikon), employ a pre-flash prior to the main flash. This feature will interfere with the optical slave sensors. You must disable the pre-flash to use the optical slave function. On a Nikon camera, you disable pre-flash by selecting manual flash mode. Do not use the manual setting in Nikon's commander mode. It will not work.

The studio is equipped with 3 Inline, AC Powered, wireless receivers.

These will fire any attached strobes when triggered by the wireless, hot-shoe, transmitter. One receiver can trigger the Alien Bees, four channel controller.
